Plastic-Free Dishwashing Set
The Plastic-Free Dishwashing Set is your whole sink setup without the plastic — a grease-cutting soap bar, a bamboo dish that drains it dry, a sisal brush for everyday washing, and a bamboo-and-coconut scrubber for the baked-on pans. Four tools, four different jobs, all made from plant fibers instead of plastic, and good-looking enough to leave out by the sink.
They replace the plastic bottle, plastic dish, and worn-out sponge that tend to collect around the sink — a practical starting point for a lower-waste kitchen, and a genuinely useful housewarming or new-home gift.
Bought separately, the four pieces come to $41.
What each piece does
- Solid dish soap (11.5 oz): A grease-cutting, unscented bar that lasts about six weeks of regular dishwashing and skips the plastic bottle entirely. Made with French green clay, sea salt, and natural oils, handmade in the USA.
- Self-draining bamboo soap dish: The waterfall slope drains water back into the sink, so your bar dries between uses instead of sitting in a puddle and turning to mush.
- Sisal dish brush with a replaceable head: Firm enough for everyday dishes, jars, and sinks and when the bristles wear down, you swap just the head and keep the bamboo handle.
- Bamboo pot scrubber: The heavy hitter for stuck-on food, baked-on pans, and cast iron, with coconut and sisal fiber that really grips. Not for nonstick, though; use the sisal brush there, without pressure.
- All vegan and plastic-free: Bamboo, sisal, coconut fiber, and a bit of recyclable metal — no plastic anywhere — remade to be rinsed and reused instead of tossed.
How it works
- Set the bamboo dish by the sink and rest the soap bar on top so it drains and dries.
- Wet the sisal brush or pot scrubber, swipe it across the bar to load soap, and scrub.
- Rinse the tools and stand them up to dry between uses — don't leave them soaking.
- When the brush wears out, replace just the head and keep the handle.
